2020 ATLANTA SOUL Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Survey
In every place (workplace, home life, ultimate, etc.) and in every way (race, gender, class), there is discrimination and inequity. With respect to ultimate, especially given its intelligence, integrity and community-oriented nature, some portion of this is due to ignorance. Rather than wait for an incident to occur, we want to be proactive.
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee for the Atlanta Soul is requesting both your stories and your help in collecting the experiences of the ultimate community at large:
When have you experienced or witnessed discrimination?
When have you needed an advocate or acted as an advocate?
How have you seen discrimination addressed in the ultimate community?
We hope to include some of these stories in the DEI trainings our team and other PUL teams will be participating in to promote awareness and increase advocacy. Please note that we will NOT share your name unless you explicitly request that we do so.
