Fun Team Facts:

The youngest player on Soul is 18 - the oldest is 41.

Four of our players were competitive gymnasts. Six were competitive swimmers!

Our athletes come from seven different states: Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Connecticut, Arizona, and Wisconsin.

Nineteen of our players served as captains on college ultimate teams.

Fifteen of the Soul athletes have masters degrees. At least three hold doctorates (with one more in progress).

Seven players competed as NCAA athletes.

Angela Lin and Maddy Frey lit the spark to create the Premier Ultimate League.

Anraya Palmer is a Live Ultimate Ambassador for USA Ultimate.

Paula Seville and her husband, Ollie, own a catering company in Grant Park.

Kayla Emrick works to ensure sexual health services for under-resourced communities in Atlanta.

Sam Stovall is the first female Managing Engineer in her company's history.

Evelina Pierce spent over a year of her life sleeping under a tarp in the wilderness.

Sam Hill spent several years volunteering in the US peace corps (Philippines) and Americorps growing food for underserved communities.

Erynn Schroeder is a Naval Officer (Lieutenant Junior Grade), the only female officer in her schoolhouse, teaching those who will operate nuclear reactors on submarines or aircraft carriers someday.

Katherine Yost broke all of Georgia College and State University's records to become their first runner to qualify for NCAA Division II Nationals. She runs 5 minute miles and climbs trees in prom dresses. 

Marissa Hicks was in a massive car wreck 5 years ago and was told she would never walk again. She recently was our practice MVP.
